KUALA LUMPUR – Yinson Production has signed a four-year contract extension with Eni for the FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor in Ghana, adding around USD 600 million (RM2.5 billion) to its firm backlog. The vessel will also be upgraded to enhance gas export capacity to 355 MMscf/d, up from approximately 210-220 MMscf/d now. The extension improves Yinson’s offshore production portfolio while ensuring ongoing activity in FPSO operations, maritime services, maintenance, and offshore energy infrastructure.
