MELAKA – EP Manufacturing Bhd (EPMB) has begun production of two Great Wall Motor (GWM) hybrid car models at its manufacturing site in Pegoh, Melaka, marking another milestone in Malaysia’s expanding automotive manufacturing sector. The development strengthens local vehicle assembly skills and represents the industry’s gradual transition to hybrid and energy-efficient technology. Increased manufacturing activity may also drive up demand for industrial maintenance, used lubricant collection, scheduled waste management, and environmental compliance services, notably in automobile production and assembly processes.
