KUALA LUMPUR, 2 September 2026 – Pentas Flora is putting the principle of the circular economy in action at the Oil & Gas Asia (OGA) 2026 by demonstrating how used lubricating oil can be recovered, re-refined and then given a second life in the form of re-refined base oil (RRBO).
The prestigious oil and gas exhibition is taking place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from 2 to 4 September 2026, gathering the top key leaders from both the energy and oil and gas sectors. Pentas Flora is exhibiting at booth 5301, hall 5, where it is showcasing the responsible management of used oil and its role in enabling resource recovery, thus contributing to a more circular industrial ecosystem.
Lubricating oil is of great importance in the industrial sector but its value is not necessarily lost after it has been used once. Lubricating oil can be recovered and re-refined to produce RRBO, which can be used productively and allow valuable resources to be reused instead of following the traditional take-use-dispose method.
By taking part in OGA 2026, Pentas Flora aims to bring waste management into the broader discussion about energy, sustainability and resource efficiency. Since industries are reinforcing their ESG commitments, the responsible management of resources at the end of their first lifecycle is becoming an increasingly important element in creating more sustainable operations.
