KUALA LUMPUR – PETRONAS has temporarily shut down the Songkhla Export Pipeline due to a problem discovered during a regular inspection. The shutdown was implemented as a precautionary step to allow for additional evaluation and repair work, emphasising the importance of pipeline integrity, operational safety, and preventative maintenance in ensuring reliable cross-border energy supplies and infrastructure operations.
