Yinson in RM 6.9 Billion Privatisation Talks

KUALA LUMPUR – Yinson Holdings is apparently in preliminary privatisation talks with a consortium consisting of its founders, the Lim family, EPF, and MISC, for an indicative offer of RM 2.35 per share. The proposed purchase would value the group at around RM 6.9 billion, bringing increased attention to Yinson’s significant presence in the FPSO and offshore energy sectors. A prospective privatisation would change the group’s ownership structure while underscoring the region’s sustained strategic interest in offshore production, maritime infrastructure, and energy-related assets.
