Global Oil Benchmarks Fall 2.5% as Middle East Export Recoveries Ease Supply Anxiety

UNITED STATES – Global crude oil prices fell by more than 2.5% across major international benchmarks, with West Texas Intermediate closing near USD 89.38 per barrel and Brent crude falling to USD 102.59 per barrel. The market decline comes as Middle Eastern crude export flows rebound faster than expected, alleviating short-term supply bottleneck concerns amid persistent regional geopolitical tensions. While this price drop provides some relief to industrial consumers, volatile international energy markets continue to expose commercial transportation, manufacturing, and heavy utility operations to baseline fuel overhead swings, emphasising the strategic value of incorporating price-stabilised, locally processed energy inputs such as Recycled Fuel Oil (RFO) and Re-Refined Base Oil (RRBO) via certified circular recovery partners.
